About B&M Transmission
We are proud members of the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association, Automatic Transmission Service Group, Transmission Rebuilders Network, and Kamloops Chamber of Commerce. We strive to provide the best in automatic transmission repairs, and we take great pride in the fact that our customers recommend their friends and family to us for their transmission problems.
B&M transmission started in 1965 with partners Cliff Burnett, Bob Burns, Ted Malko and Larry Maloski. The first stage of the business was a great success, as not too many people were repairing automatic transmissions in the day. The second stage saw Ted leaving and Cliff taking over the Salmon Arm shop. At this point, with Larry and Bob, Glenn Pattison came on board (1989). The third stage involved Larry selling the shop to Glenn in 2000, with Larry retiring from the shop.
Our shop has a sharp focus towards customer satisfaction, and that shows with our excellent "word of mouth" reputation. Just ask your friends and family who to trust with your transmission problems and our name automatically comes up. Glenn Pattison, the owner, has personally rebuilt more than 4,000 transmissions himself, and has a wealth of knowledge in transmission repair and rebuilding. We attend regular technical seminars about the latest and greatest transmission fixes and we subscribe to multiple on-line technical databases to ensure the latest information on how to properly diagnose and fix the latest model transmissions!
